Dynair DIC-ATEX – DIC-INOX-ATEX Forward curved blade centrifugal fans

The centrifugal fans of the DIC-ATX and DIC INOX-ATX series are designed and constructed to operate in potentially explosive environments, according to the ATEX Directice 94/9 CE and 2014/34/EU. They are suitable to convey clean air between -20°C +40°C. These fans are suitable for installation in zone 1/21, which require guaranteed security against expolsions and fire, due to the presence of flammable gas (II2G) and/or dust (II2D/II2GD).These fans are certified by IMQ according to ATEX Directive 94/9/CE and to EN 14986 (IMQ 10 ATEX 018 X Certificate). These fans are ideal for various industrial applications where small air volumes and high pressures are required. They are available in 5 different sizes, with impeller diameters ranging from 100 to 180 mm. The motor is directly fitted to the forward curved impeller. The impeller is coupled directly to the motor, the case is easily adjustable in 45° intervals without dismantling the whole device. DIC INOX-ATX is made out of AISI304 stainless steel and is suitable for conveying corrosive / acidic gases.

Construction:

  • Volute casing in steel sheet, protected by epoxy paint, or in AISI304 stainless steel (INOX version).
  • Single inlet, single width forward curved impeller, made from galvanized steel, or AISI304 stainless steel (INOX version). Impeller coupled directly to the motor, with motor completely separated from the airflow path.
  • Steel inlet with epoxy finish, or INOX stainless steel inlet on IIB execution models, while the IIC execution models feature a brass inlet. Standard orientation is LG 270°, with inlet connector supplied as standard (not assembled).
  • Single-, or three-phase asynchronous motors, with IP55 grade protection, and class F insulation, CE marked, compliant with the following standards: IEC 60034, IEC 60072, EMC 2004/108/CE, LVD 2006/95/CE.  ATEX certification for explosive environments cat.G group II, thermal class T4, flame protection EX D. Suitable for continuous S1 service at constant load.
